On our way to ATL, GA to jam with Brass Castle. Unfortunately, Atlanta just got slammed by a tornado.
I everything is ok for the most part there and no one was too injured. We’ve gotten very little news since we’ve been gone.
SXSW was a lot of fun though. Thanks to everyone who came out and everyone who’s helped out so far on this trip. Its definitely been a ‘trip’.
We went from this in Columbus

to 95º in Austin
and capped it off with a late night last hurrah at Taco Cabana, which was probably the worst idea of the trip.

Today the fields were on fire and our van kept failing to accelerate.
Some things change, some things stay the same.

After Squeegeeing the salt and snow off of our van with the worlds longest squeegee, we arrived in Texas.

Played a nice little show with These Are Powers and Foreign Islands in Dallas (Thanks Jonathan) and are now en route to a Native American Truck Stop to buy some dream catchers.
Time to partay.

So, we’re heading to SXSW to escape the miserable Pittsburgh winter. Our first show was last night in Columbus with El Jesus de Magico.
As we crossed out of Pennsylvania border and into WV and OH we started seeing more and more snow on the ground, which was a bit of a surprise due to the fact that Pittsburgh was grey, but just extremely rainy.
With the amount of sunshine on our minds, it was a bit of a shock to wake up to this this morning.
